Apart from this, they fail to leverage one of the essential tools in hiring - referrals. Web3 is notoriously famous to rely on referrals and close on candidates and skip the line.

Also, Since these platforms are just job boards, the recruiters are left with the hassle of going through a lot of email noise to filter out suitable candidates. The candidates also face the brunt of maintaining multiple applications over email threads and lack a single universal updated profile to showcase to recruiters.

We will also be heavily posting on our social channels (Discord, Twitter etc) spreading awareness of the protocol and any opportunities that shall open up.

Had the opportunity to talk about this project directly to @Tlazypanda , and I do understand the value proposition. Truly awesome!

Iā€™d think funding should start after MVP though. Once there is something tangible to discuss upon, is easier to identify the opportunity for EPNS and all the usage and awareness that can derive from supporting this project.

Hey @miss_walter ohh I actually just copied the changes/updates to the proposal hence missed out on the third phase, my initial ask was 10000 PUSH which was modified to 7000 PUSH after having partial development done :v:

Hereā€™s the final Breakdown:
PHASE 1 (IN PROGRESS TO BE COMPLETED BY JUNE 2022) (Reducing initial ask to 3000 PUSH) :-
Since some of the product milestones have already been received, reducing the ask from 5000 PUSH to 3000 PUSH

  • Beta version of Product in progress with the social profile and hiring referral ability.

Some more activities planned to promote Hiring and Career opportunities at EPNS include:

  • A Twitter Spaces hosted with EPNS recruiting lead to talk about the Hiring and Growth at EPNS. This includes all available roles as well as educational and advocacy programmes that candidates can look into for learning more about the protocol.
  • A Medium Blog outlining the discussions over the Twitter Spaces and more info about EPNS in general. (Posted after review by the EPNS team).
  • Sharing any opportunities/programmes during this time period with our community of over 700+ folks seeking opportunities in web3.

PHASE 2 (Reducing initial ask to 2000 PUSH) :
Adding the following Notifications that will be added to the application using EPNS:

#1: Notification when a new referral is made
#2: Notification when the referral status is changed to accepted/rejected.
#3: Notifications when the referral funds in case of successful conversions are ready to be claimed.

#4: Notifications when the candidate is rejected and locked funds are ready to be claimed.

#5: Notifications when the referrals funds have been claimed and can be viewed on the account.

  • PR and Community Building
  • Partner up with companies to list jobs.
  • NFT Drop for the first 1000 members in exchange for an initial product review
  • Invite founders/engineers from multiple companies to share info about their company and the interview process.
  • Partner up with buildspace, layer5, dework to verify their NFTs as Proof of Work.
  • Forum creation for interview discussion.

Phase 3 (FUTURE: 01.JULY.2022 to 30.JULY.2022) (Funding Ask: 2000 PUSH):

  • Introduce a Salary feature covering any salary data for various Web3 based companies.
  • Advertise hackathons and other events/conferences etc from the web3 based companies
  • Creation of basic tests around solidity, etherjs, and other web3 libraries to test a candidateā€™s caliber (can be developed as a criterion to pass for certain companies before applying)
